The straps are crafted from veg tanned Maya leather sourced from Conceria Il Ponte in Italy, known for their high-quality materials. The attachment ends are triple layered for enhanced durability, making it suitable for all-day wear.

It is common for vegetable-tanned leather to naturally darken over time due to environmental factors and exposure to oils. This patina development is a distinctive and personal process, varying with each individual’s use.

Premium Quality Throughout

This strap has an excellent feel and quality all around. The new Italian leather in this version is noticeably refined and smooth to the touch. I’ve been buying straps from SMC for years, and I can confidently say their leather selection is among the best you’ll find. This being a veg tanned leather, I’m looking forward to seeing how this strap develops its patina with wear.

I’ve had their older black crazy horse leather strap in pilot style as well, which has held up impressively over the years. I have no doubt this updated version will meet or exceed that standard.

Not long enough

I have a wide wrist and was hoping this would be a bit longer than the OEM strap on my watch. Sadly it was shorter and thus is not useable. If I could figure out returns I'd do that.
